How startups can produce social content that really resonates

Social media can be a great tool for startups to gain visibility and a following with investors and clients, but coming up with a winning strategy may seem like a daunting task.

Each platform prescribes a different strategy and has its own guidelines. More importantly, each attracts a specific audience for that channel. Content that wins on Twitter may not be as successful on Instagram or TikTok.

Social media can be a tough place for startups operating with small teams and resources. Still, Rashad Assir, Redpoint’s head of content, thinks the potential rewards make it totally worth it.

Speaking at MinRegion’s Early Stage conference last week, Assir and Redpoint partner Josh Machiz said the key to creating content that will resonate on social media is creating posts that feel authentic and target a niche audience.
